Video Sunday Vol. III

I finally gave in and got a Tumblr. Well, to be accurate I already have one that I ghostblog while others also submit anonymously. It honestly never really took off possibly due to the fact you don’t really tell people about your Tumblr if you’re trying to do it anonymously. Anyway, I got and I’m finally going to have somewhere to put all this crazyness that stays up on 15 tabs of my Chrome browser at a time. Which means I’m gonna have lots of videos on there also. And other random stuff so check it out and follow it or whatever you do and when I figure things out I’ll definitely follow you back.

On to the videos…

Discodeine ft. Jarvis Cocker – Synchronize

The amazing French duo of edit master Pilooski along with Pentile come together for supergroup Discodeine and have released a beautiful video to go along with the funky disco grooves.

Trackademicks – State of the Arts

I’ve been a fan of the Bay Area’s Trackademicks for a long time and am excited for the release of his first album State of the Arts with his Honor Roll Crew. The title track features Goapele but the album will include artists like Little Brother, Mista F.A.B., and Phonte. Great production on both song and video, excited to hear some more tracks.

Random Impulse – Overload

Don’t know how Random Impulse has flown completely under the radar, this is a great sound that combines his hip hop, grime, and indie rock love with a great beat as well as rhymes. His Overload EP is out in February. This is gonna be one of the people to watch in 2011 – bet.

Best Coast – Boyfriend on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

One of the reasons I’m so in love with Best Coast, the hottest new band of 2010, is because they seem like they’d be a lot of fun to hang out with and are totally relatable (via Twitter). The band kills it in this Late Night with Jimmy Fallon performance, which let us remember was Conan‘s original gig.

Catch you next week and enjoy my Tumbls.
