Video Sunday Vol. XIII

Yeah so I missed last week, first time I skipped since January. Oh well, it happens. One of my best childhood friends came out to visit for the week and all my cares seemed to go out the window for a few days. I kinda needed that. I’ll have a great post about all our adventures as well as photos up a little later this week. Now to the videos…

Notorious LA party the Do-Over likes to travel and has been known to hold “-Over” events in places like Miami, Hawaii, and now Palm Springs. Check out this video they put together of their great “Sleep-Over” event held last month in Palm Springs.

When an artist makes a big splash at SXSW, they tend to do the same to the music industry in general during the coming year. This year everyone seemed to be sharing the same praises of Erykah Badu and how amazing her sets and music were during the festival. This is a great little video of her singing in a studio, reminding us how amazing her voice really is and that a comeback is not such a farfetched idea.

UK rapper Smasher does just that and crushes this remix of the A Milli beat on a fast flowing freestyle with killer production from BlinkieUK.

When rock remixes of hip hop tracks are dropped it seems like they are either really good or really bad. Cris Cab takes on Kanye’s “All of the Lights” and it comes out shining like gold in a beautiful new vibe.

I’ve been loving the new TV on the Radio so of course I had to post their new video.

Keep an eye on my Tumblr for more timely video postings every couple days.
